ITS has released the latest standard design for the audio-visual technology in university conference rooms.

Over this past year, UConn has prioritized enhanced flexibility in how our community teaches, learns, and works.  Hybrid work perpetuates these needs as academic and administrative areas strive to maintain productivity from different locations.  University conference rooms will remain a nexus for collaboration, and ITS has been revising our design as we selectively piloted technologies that gave participants and presenters more options.  Groups at these locations have successfully integrated their preferred web-conferencing platforms, shared content wirelessly, and easily used either the room’s computer or their personal laptops.  We are now offering these capabilities broadly and at a lower than historical price point.  If your area is interested in exploring this functionality, contact techsupport@uconn.edu to initiate an evaluation.
