Community Dynamics and Reputation Change

As members of the IT community, we all contribute to the fulfillment of the institutional mission of research, teaching, learning, and outreach.  We partner to deliver the services and support, both enterprise and local, that are essential to the majority of activities at the University.  How we are viewed by our community is influenced both by how we operate as individuals and as how we function collectively.  Since joining ITS, I have put into motion a concerted effort to understand, assess, and reshape its reputation on campus.  I recently documented my perspective on this topic to share with the organization, and I thought that, perhaps, one or two others might find some value in it as well.  We have posted the whitepaper for your access and consideration: cio.uconn.edu/cio-publications
