Ed Tech Steering Committee

This committee was created in 2015 by Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL).

    The charge of this committee includes but is not limited to: 

    1. Scanning the external environment (directly or through conversations with colleagues) for new developments and opportunities in educational and instructional technologies
    2. Meeting regularly to examine and explore the utility of those technologies that hold promise to meet an identified institutional need, including participation in early round vendor presentations
    3. Making recommendations regarding the consideration of adoption of new technologies (pilot recommendation vs. enterprise-wide recommendation)
